Looking for your coffee fix from an ethical and sustainable local business? @awakenedbeancoffeeroasters offers roasted organic coffee that is fair trade and sourced from women-owned farms from around the world. We caught up with them at @veganstreetparty in St. Petersburg, Florida.

I am a coffee lover, and Awakened Bean did not disappoint! I was blown away with the freshness and flavor of their coffees! I am a big coffee drinker each morning, and usually throw in a bunch of sweeteners and vegan milks (don’t judge me – I like my sweet drinks haha!) but with the Awakened Bean’s coffee, I actually prefer it black! That’s how good it is. They also have some key features that will keep me coming back. One, the bags are biodegradable. And two, they source from ethical coffee bean farms, including women run coffee farms! I am all for sustainable and ethical businesses! And the owners are absolutely rad! Check them out!!!
