South Florida is ready for you.

If you care about South Florida’s Vegan community and want to see it thrive, so do I. For more than 10 years I’ve built it, from Palm Beach to Miami-Dade, to make it a global hotspot for Veganism. Now I’m looking for someone I trust to lead it with me.

You are not starting from zero

You get what I never had.

I learned by trial and error, event by event. You won’t have to figure this out alone.

  • More than 500 events hosted and backed since 2016
  • A team, a platform and a method that works
  • Nobody comes to Veganism the same way, so we meet people where they are: health, food, nutrition and the environment

The goal never changes: animal liberation, a world where no animal suffers or dies for food or entertainment.

What leading means

Lead the charge. Don’t carry it alone.

The economy has hit our community hard, and Vegan adoption has shifted fast. That’s exactly when a community needs someone to rally it.

  • Bring people with you, instead of one person doing everything
  • Enroll members and volunteers. They power our points system and the app that’s coming
  • Build something that outlasts any one event, or any one person

Leading doesn’t mean doing everything yourself. It means building something bigger than you.

Your role

You: three things

  • Show up. Run our booth at events, and support local nonprofits and community groups
  • Bring people in. Tell them what we’re building, enroll members, and bring businesses on as partners
  • Lead the conversation. South Florida’s members have their own space on our platform, and you’re the host

The time commitment

What a month looks like.

About 3 hours a week, rarely more than 5. Flexible work you fit around your life.

When something happens in South Florida’s Vegan community, I want to hear it from you first.

  • A place opening or closing, or a Vegan spot starting to add animal products
  • Whatever people are talking about, and arguing about
  • Tell our assistant on your dashboard. It drafts the story for our Pulse, and you give it a final look. No code, just conversation

Then bring it to the weekly huddle. When a city grows, we all celebrate. When a city stalls, we all rally. If it’s still not working, we talk honestly, and sometimes the role changes hands.

The agreement

A volunteer role.

This isn’t a job. You lead your city’s community because you care about it, and we back you with the platform, the team and real perks.

  • 12 monthsYour agreementRenewed each year, with a handover plan so your chapter never starts over
  • No payPoints, levels and perksLevel points for hosting, events and content, perks along the way, and approved expenses paid back with a receipt
  • GrowToward CoordinatorLead well and you can support several chapters as a Community Coordinator

How we’ll know it’s working: new members, events, contacts and warm introductions, and three qualified sponsor conversations a month. We look at it together every week and review the role each season.
