For this Special Virtual Documentary Night, in honor of Native American Heritage Month, we are meeting to talk about the documentary, Alaska's Vanishing Native Villages. This film gives a look inside Alaska Native villages fighting for survival against climate change. With the Howard Center at ASU, FRONTLINE examines why communities are relocating and why they're struggling to preserve their traditions. Patty Talahongva (Director), Estelle Thomson (President of the Native Village of Paimiut), and Agatha Napoleon (Council Member of the Native Village of Paimiut) will be joining us for a special guest Q&A!
