For this Special Virtual Documentary Night, in honor of National Voter Education Week, we are meeting to talk about the documentary, [The Battle for Ranked Choice Voting](https://documentarynight.wordpress.com/2026/09/06/the-battle-for-ranked-choice-voting/). From Maine to New Mexico, citizens across America are clamoring for free and fair elections through ranked choice voting (RCV). Our story unfolds as voters organizing to enact the reform face fierce pushback from establishment politicians. The film looks at the historical rise, fall, and rebirth of RCV in the United States and abroad, and embed viewers in the front line of the battle raging over voters’ rights. Julie Mallozzi (Director), Scotty Vercoe (Producer), Nika Elugardo (Former Massachusetts State Representative) and Kyle Bailey (Campaign Manager for Committee For Ranked Choice Voting, Strategic Advisor for Rank MI Vote) will be joining us for a special guest Q&A!
